Potential reduction hours due to Wednesday early release, early dismissals for parent conferences, holidays, and last day of school; reduction hours subject to change. Job assignment and/or building assignment are subject to change based on program needs determined by the district.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

85% time on computerOpen/Close LibraryLog on/Shut down all computers and/or ChromebooksGeneral knowledge of computer systems (Microsoft programs, Power Point, Follett/Destiny, VIZOR, InTouch, Skyward); 10 key knowledge; scanner knowledge (saving to accounts)Manage Chromebook distribution and monitor inventoryCheck in and check out books/textbooksAssist staff and students with laminating projetsAssist staff with library schedule requestsAssist students with active directory for computer log on, library research, computer researchAssist students with google passwords, replace old passwords with google account request formAssist students/staff with computer/Chromeook log on, library research, computer researchAssist students/staff saving to accountsProcess new and old books with book/material processing (spine labels, bar codes, staming, due date, cataloging, book cover)Collect inventory including spring inventory, run reports, resolve all reportsHandle routine telephone calls and direct calls to appropriate personnelEnter/withdraw all student/staff on library systemManage daily, weekly, monthly student reportsAssess fines and receive moneyMake depositsBe punctual and have a regular/consistent attendanceAssist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and board policiesTake all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilitiesOTHER FUNCTIONS:

EDUCATION:

High school diploma and/or equivalent; prior job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing
