Tottenham Hotspur smashed Manchester City 4-0 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday in the Premier League and here are our player ratings from the match.
Ange Postecoglou made three changes to his Tottenham team from the side that lost to Ipswich and prevented Spurs from climbing into third place that day. He brought Yves Bissouma in to replace the suspended Rodrigo Bentancur and Ben Davies for the injured Cristian Romero. James Maddison came back into the team on his 28th birthday with Dejan Kulusevski moving up to the right wing and Brennan Johnson on the bench.
The Spurs boss was without his first choice central defenders with Romero out with the the hamstrung Micky van de Ven, meaning Davies paired up with Radu Dragusin.
Maddison opened the scoring with a birthday cracker. Radu Dragusin hit a long ball downfield and Kulusevksi got it, cut inside and struck a lovely left-footed ball into the path of Maddison to volley home with his own left foot.
The midfielder then doubled his tally on 19 minutes. Spurs won the ball high up the pitch after a loose Josko Gvardiol pass and Maddison and Son Heung-min played a great one-two before the midfielder chipped a perfect effort over the onrushing Ederson.
The away side made it 3-0 early in the second half. Kulusevski curled a ball across to Dominic Solanke and he pulled it back for Pedro Porro to smash into the far corner to send the travelling Tottenham fans wild.
Tottenham wrapped up a superb performance with a fourth goal when Timo Werner raced down the left flank and pulled the ball across for Brennan Johnson to slide home.
Here are our Tottenham player ratings from the game:
Guglielmo Vicario
Dropped an early corner but then saved Haaland's shot with his foot 11 minutes in. Made a terrific save from Savinho's point blank header before the offside flag went up. Made a point blank range save from Gundogan with 15 minutes to go and then again from Haaland. City just couldn't get past him. 9
Pedro Porro
Almost gifted Savinho a chance with a poor header back. Was far better after that and more than made up for that moment with a powerful curling strike into the far corner to make it 3-0 to Spurs. 8
Radu Dragusin
Hit the long ball that set Porro away for Spurs' opening goal. Made a great late interception and was imperious throughout. Just what the young Romanian needed. 9
Ben Davies
Made an early block on a Haaland effort and alongside Dragusin led the line as the experienced head. It was his interception that started the break for the third goal. 9
Destiny Udogie
An energetic performance up and down the left with plenty to do in his defending. Picked up a late problem which forced him off in the final minutes. 8
Pape Matar Sarr
A brilliant performance from the young midfielder and he seems at times to be playing in two positions at once, such was the ground he covered. 9
Yves Bissouma
Picked up a yellow card just 17 seconds in for a needless lunge on Foden. Found his discipline after that though and was excellent. 8
James Maddison
Celebrated his birthday with two superb first-half strikes. The first was a left-footed volley on the run and the second was a delicate dink over the onrushing Ederson. His confidence was flowing from then on and he showed exactly what he can do. 9
Dejan Kulusevski
On the right wing and he hit a sublime pass into the path of Maddison for the opening goal. Was then involved in Spurs' third goal early in the second half with a ball across to Solanke. Forced Ederson into a save with a second half run and shot. He just loves to play at this stadium. 9
Dominic Solanke
Forced Ederson into a first half save with an effort from the edge of the box. Never stopped running and got an assist when he pulled the ball back for Porro's goal. Put Kulusevski away for a chance midway through the second half. Such an unselfish performance. 8
Son Heung-min
Had a curling effort from distance just tipped over at the last moment by Ederson. Then played a terrific reverse ball into the path of Maddison for Tottenham's second goal. He then found Solanke for a chance just before the half hour mark. Linked up with Kulusevski in the build-up to the third goal. Came off just after the hour mark following a hard-working performance. 8
Subs
Brennan Johnson
Went early on a run soon after coming on and was well offside as he hit the post but made up for it with a sliding goal in the final moments. 7
Timo Werner
A great late cameo to set up Johnson for Tottenham's fourth goal. 7
Lucas Bergvall
Made the interception that set Spurs away for their final goal. 7
Djed Spence
Replaced Udogie late on. 6
