How does MLB The Show Conquest work? ›

To win at Conquest, you'll need to conquer territory, defeat rival teams, and steal fans away from your opponents. As your command of the map increases, you'll be able to fortify your stronghold with more fans, allowing you to more easily conquer rival territories.

Each Conquest game lasts about 15-20 minutes due to the 3-inning format. Conquest games in MLB The Show 23 are typically 3 innings, so they usually take about 15-20 minutes to complete.

A player's Conquest Point cap is calculated based on best personal rating. The higher your rating, the higher your cap (as you earn more points). It is not possible to earn points above the cap. Players can also convert 250 into 250.

In Conquest both teams are given a limited number of tickets. The exact number of tickets varies between maps, but is generally set by the map's suggested player count. Server owners can also set the ticket server's ticket count as high or as low as they wish.

Conquest is split into four phases: Attack, Steal Fans, Reinforce, and Move. Use your units on the map to spread out and claim unmarked and marked territories. You can simulate games when attempting to take over regular territories but you must play the game when attempting to take over a Stronghold.
